"Owners did a great job of providing anything extra you might need. Decorations were cute and the area is great. Privacy and communication were good. However, the beds were awful. I'm sure the use of kayaks, etc would be nice, but we left early after a very bad night's sleep and didn't utilize them."

"The house was dirty, the AC unit was blowing out dirt and dust which ended up getting me sick. The shower has black mold along the bottom and we were welcomed with a woman’s used hair tie in the shower. The hot water wasn’t working in the shower. There were open wires in the cabin where an outlet should have been and dead bugs everywhere. We kept finding them in the bed, couch, kitchen counter top and even in the bowls. This place hasn’t had a review in over a year and now I see why. We absolutely loved Caddo lake but coming back to this house was such a disappointment. It’s also located in a RV park. The host tried charging me 75 for our service dog which is against Vrbo policy’s. Once we arrived at the house the communication with the host stopped. Would not recommend staying here. "

"Overall the house was beautiful and was spacious for our group. We had a bad storm our first night that made the spa have issues the next morning but Mr. Blue came right over and fixed it. The house was equipped with a generator that kicked in during the storm as well so we had a split second of power loss. The grill didn’t quite get warm enough to cook on we had to finish cooking on the stove. The fridge presented high temperature on our 2nd day and wouldn’t cool down after resetting the alarm. Mr. Blue again came right over looked at it and provided us a large cooler with ice to move our food to. Your stay includes a gallon of adult beverages from the liquor store down the street; make sure you plan ahead because the store closed early."

Keepin It Reel on Caddo Lake (Houseboat)

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. The lake and the view were SO relaxing, and the houseboat was comfortable. There were 3 of us, so quarters were a little tight, but fortunately we all like each other. Lol. We took one of the boat tours from Johnson Marina next door, which we also highly recommend. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great place to stay, and the host was very responsive."
