"There was no air conditioning, even though when I booked it claimed to have it. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, it had a community kitchen, but there were no forks. A car in front of this place was broken into, had the window smashed in. And it was on an extremely noisy street which of course there was no mention of when we booked. Also once you book you cannot cancel, it is non refundable. "

"Really clean and pristine— except for a stain on a bath towel. That could be overlooked if it hadn’t escalated into such a drama: multiple text messages— even asked to provide a photo of the offending stain. Husband showered with a hand towel one morning. Eventually got a new supply delivered, minus the extra coffee I requested. It’s a beautiful property in a hip location. Good security protocols which I didn’t mind. You can have a finely oiled machine, but hospitality isn’t always about ticks...
