“The cottage is ideally located and the off street parking is a bonus. The property is well laid out and spacious with everything you could need for a relaxing break. We would not hesitate to return. Only a couple of suggestions to make the stay even better. There was a faint smell of drains in the bathroom which built up if the door was closed. The wooden frame round the bed had corners which could catch your legs when walking round it due to the close proximity of the wardrobe. More room……

“Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so……

“The Granary is in a secluded location ideal for relaxing, the upstairs sitting room. Is very well equipped with a library of books lots of comfy seating options and plenty of dvds, videos and board games. The kitchen is well equipped and very comfortable, I particularly enjoyed the personal touches in the form of the artwork. We found the bedrooms spacious and spotlessly clean, the single mattresses are very firm. The bathroom is clean and the shower worked well. The hosts were friendly……

“Property is well located and beds are comfy. It was very cold in the property when we arrived as the thermostat had been turned to 10 degrees and there were no matches to light the fire. The whole property felt like it needed a bit of a refresh.....walls marked, some mirrors cracked, doors & handles chipped, kitchen equipment mismatched and well used, some kitchen equipment broken, dining room chair broken and not usable. The shower has a slanted roof so not ideal as you have to duck to prevent……

“Enjoyable stay. Lovely town, everything within walking distance. Private car parking space was good, although a little tight. House was clean and owners to attention to detail was apparent to us. Everything well maintained and tidy. Clean bedding, towels etc. Would return to this house if in Seahouses again.”
