“Comfortable stay for a family of 4 with the 2 bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen although we did not use much. Easy walk to the port for ferries and tours. Several dining options with 10 min walk. 4 th floor stay was nice with lots of natural breeze ”

“We stayed 3 nights in the "casa grande" associated with the Galapagos Pearl Hotel and could not have been more pleased. The casa has 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, one bathroom, and is conveniently located right next to the pool and the outdoor dining area where Yolanda serves breakfast. Your room is cleaned every day. The garden surrounding the pool and casa is lush and full of geckos, cats, and beautiful plantings. Yolanda is from the Galapagos, she is a wonderful host and her daughter helped us……

“Great lodging with effective space for multiple groups of travelers. Location is perfect, off the tourist path, and easy to access by any taxis in Puerto Arroyo (just say you want to go to Parque Cascada). Groceries are available anywhere near the house, better produce quality found in the shops on Baltra Ave. Property manager is easy to communicate with and responds instantly.”

“Pictures are accurate and the location is central to everything in Puerto Ayora. The best part of staying here for our group of four, though, by far was the host Donna. She has lived in Galapagos for a long time and knows all the establishments in Puerto Ayora very well - we were very happy with her Scuba Diving and restaurant recommendations. During our trip, we ran into some difficulty that required us to navigate the local bureaucracy, and Donna was there every step of the way to assist us……

“We had a very nice time staying at Torre Mar. It was very conveniently located. We were 5 families...me (the mom) and my 4 kids, their spouses and 6 grandkids. Everyone had their own "suite". The advertising is a little confusing. I thought we were renting a "home", and then realized it was an apartment/hotel....but as I said, it was very nice for each family to have private space. The owner John was very friendly, although we did have some miscommunication issues, which is interesting……
