We enjoyed our stay here. Big fan of rose’ on check in. Loved the walking paths, spa island and the overall vibe of the resort. Lots of food options. Loved night walks on the pier. Staff was helpful when we thought we had a shower issue in the later evening after check in and responded quickly. The pools and hot tubs were fabulous, just wish they were open later when the sunset hour becomes earlier. Overall we would stay here again.
Beautiful property, the well maintained the room was gorgeous. Ambresnia at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The pool and the tiki bars were great.
We are repeat returning customers and will continue to be so, we love Cheeka. The staff and facilities are excellent. Always a great time. Local restaurants are fantastic on site. Restaurants are excellent. The snorkeling in the area as well as the fishing is world class.
The staff was very accommodating and nice. The room however needed an upgrade. The bed squeaked every time someone moved and the beds were curved in the middle. For the price, I was expecting so much more! You pay for the amenities at the resort, not the room.
Such a beautiful property with incredible amenities! Our room was large, beds were so comfortable! We enjoyed the soaking tub, all the pools, and the beautiful beach. Food and drinks were amazing! Probably the best resort we have ever been to! Wonderful in every way! Highly recommend!!!
The suite is advertised as 804 sq ft with 2 queen beds and a sitting area. It's just one rectangular room without any separate areas, and there are no doors either; the size of the room is about 500sqft, and the extra 300sq ft is probably the bathroom and outside balcony. But the location of the room on the 1st floor is like a basement, pretty dark, with no open view, so we didn't bother to step out. The room isn't soundproof; we could hear people next door and outside.
The facilities are good enough, and the Japanese restaurant is high quality. The staff is nice and helpful.
I stayed in one of the bungalows, which was nice being separate from the main hotel and activity there. Got up every morning and went down to sit in my chair and watch the sunrise.
Clean and comfortable rooms, but I did get a dated feel, but certainly served our purpose. The property supplied EVERYTHING needed to enjoy your stay. I didn’t have dinner there, but their breakfast was elevated and delish. The Adult pool we used had an exercise instructor, a spa and was crystal clear. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The roosters that roamed were the healthiest looking rooster I ever saw 😉. We wandered off the property but my observation was that you didn’t need to leave to stay busy and active, very self-contained.

Clean rooms, staff amazing, restaurant great location beautiful
Overall, it was a wonderful and beautiful place to stay. The main downside was that our elevator was not working the entire 6 days we were here and having to pay $73/day in resort fees makes me think they should have fixed it promptly. We had to climb 4 flights of stairs every time we left our room. Also be warned that they put a $200 hold per night on your credit card which I was not aware of. So $1000 was immediately taken from my bank account which I had intended to use for spending money. The staff were great. Thanks
