"This property is brand new and had everything we needed. Surrounding area is beautiful, being a bit away from the crowds is nice too. Hosts were responsive to needs, provided some extra activities (corn hole, fire pit, wood, grill). Could use some more seating in the living area for those rainy days but kids did fine lounging on their beds. Hopefully you don’t have many of those days. Screened in front porch is really nice in the mornings. Highly recommend! And Take reusable bags to...

"This property was an affordable way to have an enjoyable stay near all the sights of Acadia. The ability to do laundry during our trip was a big plus as well as 4 twin beds for 4 adults with room to spread out. Generally we spent time exploring Acadia and Bass Harbor but having the house allowed a day of relaxation and puzzle assembly for some while others spent more time hiking. Owners were fantastic!! Would stay again. "

"Everything about this property was wonderful, cleanliness, location, comfortable beds, nice deck overlooking the bay. It’s mostly private, you do share a dock and kayaks with at least one other cottage. Bass Harbor is our favorite part of MDI, quiet with three of our favorite restaurants, great hiking trails, easy to get to other parts of the island. We would highly recommend this property. "

Thoughtfully laid out and beautifully maintained, it offered endless activities for our grandkids from fishing off the dock and canoeing on the water to evening campfires and games of bocce on the lawn.
