Terramor Outdoor Resort

Terramor Outdoor Resort

10/10 Excellent
"Terramor Outdoor Resort delivered a standout first glamping experience: spacious canvas tents with fresh‑air flow and private bathrooms, tucked into a secluded spot that kept our screened porch completely private for cozy evenings in a chair under a blanket. The pool was impeccably maintained and a hit with the kids—though it becomes adults‑only from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.—and while the hot tub is officially “no kids,” the rule isn’t always enforced. On several evenings a s’mores station at 8 p.m. drew the children out of the water, adding a fun camp‑fire feel. The front desk lends hiking poles and binoculars for free, and its modest shop stocks trail mix, jerky, insect repellent and other basics, sparing a trip into Bar Harbor. Breakfast is modest (mostly cold fare, plus hot oatmeal I topped with fresh blueberries) and opens at 7 a.m.; on a rushed morning we arrived at 6:40 a.m. for a 7:30 a.m. Cadillac Mountain reservation, and the manager kindly let us in early for cereal, milk and coffee. Situated just a short drive—or a free shuttle—from Acadia National Park, Terramor offers the tranquility of a wooded retreat with easy park access, making it a solid and luxurious glamping stay."

8/10 Good
"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean but outdated. However, the hotel was in the process of being updated. There was no place to put your toiletries, and amenities were sparse…we had one k cup of coffee for the three days we were there, and none to be found elsewhere. We were a little disappointed with our “harbor view” room….the harbor was simply a mud flat that filled with water during high tide, and the “view”was a view of the parking lot THEN the water. Overall, it’s a good value for the budget- conscious…just bring coffee!"
