An absolute 5-star experience from start to finish! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome after a late check in. My daughter absolutely loved the incredible view from our room, and the breakfast was a fantastic touch that made the stay feel extra special. Can't wait to come back!

Our check in was easy. Parking is around the back of the hotel, no clear signs. Room was great with robes. Only about 2 blocks from Ithaca Commons it was a great location to walk around and explore downtown Ithaca.

The staff was helpful, professional, informative and kind. The location is ideal & the parking area was great. The bathroom toiletries were nice. One washcloth was given and no hand towels for a room with 2 queen beds. The pool was closed for maintenance. Our room was not as clean as one would expect for well over $500 a night. The nightstand phone did not work at all and when I looked behind it there was a surge protector with a tangle of wires, sitting in a lot of dust and debris. Surfaces needed a wipe down. The wall had deep scrapes from the bed and several walls throughout the hotel had deep scrapes where paint or wallpaper was missing. There was what we thought was a connecting door with the next room that was jammed shut and was misaligned because we couldn’t close the lock.

We chose this hotel bc of their support of Ithaca college’s volleyball team and were there for a tourney, sponsored by Hotel Ithaca. Despite Hotel Ithaca’s website calling it a “beautiful, renovated” hotel, we did not witness anything that appeared renovated. We were assigned to a corner room, #690 in the South Tower. The room had beautiful views of downtown Ithaca, but the blinds were damaged and did not go up and down smoothly, so they remained down during our visit. Most appalling was the giant patch (approx 2ft long) of MOLD growing on the ceiling of the shower. DISGUSTING! When I notified the front desk, I was thanked for letting them know about the issue, but despite the front desk clerk being noticeably shocked by the picture I showed, we were not offered any accommodation or discount. I also emailed the general manager directly and sent a notice thru Expedia, but have yet to hear back from anyone. With the prices they charge (we paid approx $300/night), I’m appalled by the state of this hotel.
