“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.”

“Boutique little hotel with lots of history and character. Quiet and great location about 10-15 min from multiple beaches. Across the street is a fantastic bakery with good coffee as well as a little general store with a decent amount of snacks, wine, beer beach toys and other odds and ends. “The hot tub, honor bar, spa were all well done. The layout of cabins created a nestled atmosphere. The setting, backed up to the wooded ridge, gave a sense of wildness.
