About 300 men in the lobby and on the steps in front of the hotel. Smoking cigarettes and blasting music. At first I wasn’t sure that this is a hotel, looked like a local party venue. Huge Parking next to the place for extra charge. Good places to eat. The heat didn’t work and it was blowing cold air even when it was off. We had to use 2 blankets at night (February). It was fine for a short stay, would not recommend. The housekeeping staff were always ready to clean room & provide me with essentials if needed. I even extended my stay without difficulty. Wonderful Front Desk; an excellent location close to the sites; many shops all around and places to get food etc. I love the busy location & being right in the middle of local life. It is a very busy neighbourhood - but that is the charm. When you are stuck in a hotel room cos of sirens this was a great bonus." There are plenty of shops and places to eat a very nearby. The train also runs on the street. The breakfast is expensive at Ibis. Usually went to a shop for coffee and pastry nearby. The hotel is on Jaffa Street very convenient to get two things. 15 minute walk to the old city."
