"Had a hot straightener so was waiting a few minutes after 11 for it to cool down and the housekeeper gave me attitude. The front desk attendant that checked me in was very hospitable on the other hand. "

"Terrible service, non working lights, elevator was not working. Room had a non functional TV, bathroom had roaches and no towels. Front desk woman did not want to be there and was extremely rude, she handed me old worn out towels after I requested them. Refused to move me to another room. She didn’t care a single bit about my health condition. Terrible absolutely unpleasant from start to finish. "

"This was a quaint historic motel and a quiet town. The owner was very friendly and even opened his antique and collectables shop next door for us to look around. It was a fun change from the typical budget motel."

"I’m very pleased with my stay. First time being here & I felt comfortable. The staff is amazing & was helpful in getting me booked again for another stay. Affordable and friendly. Thank you for wonderful hospitality."
"My only concern was the floor of the tub was very slippery when taking a shower. There were no grab bars to hold on too and being a retiree I found it very intimidating even dangerous. Otherwise, our whole experience was very delightful."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Heath - Newark by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"My children and I have stayed in this hotel several times and always find it to be clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and a very nice feature. The hotel is on a somewhat busy road but we have never noticed much noise from the street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!"
"The staff was excellent. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. The only complaint I have about this stay is the bathroom sink faucets were placed in a weird, awkward place on the sink. Made it hard to wash your hands and brush your teeth. "
"We loved the nostalgia of the old hotel. Coshocton is my hometown, so my husband of 36 years and I loved visiting Coshocton after 12 years. Great Hotel, very nice staff.

Private 90+ acres! Indoor Heated Saltwater Pool. Private Lodge With Amenities
10/10 Excellent
"Check in was easy, we loved the house, and the indoor pool was a great relief from the hot and muggy weather. The house was well stocked, there was plenty of room for all of us and the host responded quickly to the couple of questions we had. We liked it so much we have already booked our stay for next year. Thank you for a great vacation spot!"
Buckeye Lake WATERFRONT Vacation Home B | Crane Cove Resort
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful place! The house is cozy, clean, and quaint with a perfect view of the lake and beautiful garden. The layout is unique and perfect for people who want to share space but also enjoy some privacy. My family really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat provided (nice extra bonus). Great location! We jumped on the bike trail and rode down the lake and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets, access to nearby restaurants, and fishing at the park close by as well as at the property. The house is also close to some local attractions apart from Buckeye lake which we really enjoyed such as Dawes Arboretum and Newark Earthworks.Rick was a great host! Check-in and out was simple and he was very quick to respond to any questions and was very kind, polite, and accommodating. We cannot wait to enjoy this gorgeous and quiet place again soon- we will definitely be back to peaceful Crane Cove Resort!"
"Was a great place for a guys weekend. Can hang out in the sunroom and also outside. So much good golf courses around too. Definitely would recommend "
"This is an excellent place to stay if you are going to the Toscoe Village or Amish Country. The people are so nice and helpful. The staff was very friendly."
"Great stay as a stop along our trip. The pool wasn’t in working order which was disappointing. We had one issue with the shower but the manager Cindy was amazing. She came up to the room and fixed it herself. Great service! "
