Best Resorts in Johns Island

"Wonderful room! Very spacious and immaculate. Convenient location with adequate parking and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is included but after a week, it was very lackluster as the only thing that changed was the breakfast meat selection. Scrambled hotel eggs daily got old. Also, suggestion to management..just buy regular bread for your toaster. I realize the big slices look nice but they do not fit in the toaster slot. You have to toast half in a very slow toaster then turn it over and toast the other half. "

"Booker beware! They overbooked and when we arrived we were informed they didn’t have our reservation available. We had pre paid through Expedia had nowhere to stay and it was an absolute nightmare trying to get a refund. Shaunte at the front desk was incredibly rude. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Even though it may be inexpensive, please please don’t book this hotel it is not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere. "

"The property needs a lot of updating. The elevators were out of order many times during our stay resulting in our family, including a child with an ankle fracture, having to walk up 8 flights of stairs multiple times. The bathrooms have no ventilation. There is no furniture on the balconies. Overall, I will not be staying at Tides again. "

"Overall, wonderful stay. The pool and Little Palm was great! The rooms were cute and the coffee shop was convenient. However, our room was a Premier King and, for the amount we paid, we had no view (completely covered by bush and gate, felt a bit jailish), the room was incredibly loud as it backed up to the restaurant, and the staff wasn’t as friendly as expected. We had a nice time all in all, but the ROI was lacking. "
