“This is a very charming spot that we stumbled upon due to some changes in our travel plans. It was a very pleasant stay with an incredible staff. The included breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable with a babbling creek right outside the windows. If you are in the area it is a wonderful place to stay.”

“Great experience during check- in. Was permitted to check in early. Great cosy pub. Excellent Guinness. The actual room lacked any real ventilation as the one window only pushed outwards slightly and the air felt stagnant and hot. A fan would have helped or indeed a window that opened fully. Overall a great little spot and would definitely recommend.”

“Friendly and supportive staff. Very responsive to enquiry before and during the stay. Regular shuttle bus to Dublin Airport 24/7. Definitely the choice if there is an early flight to catch.”

“Beautiful property and the rooms were air conditioned! I did think we would be staying in a castle, but apparently the castle is closed and under renovations being prepared to become an actual hotel, and the monastery onsite was also fenced off, so you couldn’t access the inside of it. If you want to golf, this is the place! Also the food was mediocre and expensive, and our dinner took a total of 2 hours from the time someone took our order to the time someone cashed us out.”

“Lifts were awkwardly placed. We needed to use the stairs. Noisy. The front desk staff weren’t very helpful. They were not available 24 hours as advertised. I needed to speak to someone overnight. When I went downstairs, there was no-one at the desk. When they were present, they were more focussed on laughing and joking between themselves than on the service of guests.”
