It was very dirty, and we're not picky about "normal" dirt. We expect the shower to be free of visible hair and the bathroom floor to be reasonably clean, and there was hair everywhere and the floor was black in places. Behind the bed was obviously dirty, which we don't usually notice, but the bed wasn't against the wall and trash was spilling out. Just looks like maybe they either don't staff enough housekeepers or they're untrained. The staff we dealt with were great. The room we had didnt didnt have a working deadbolt. The front desk apparently then finally called the police and had them removed. Worst night we've ever had there. Uneven tile in bathroom causing tripping. Bathtub was stained, many surfaces not cleaned in room upon arrival. Missing code-required smoke seals from room door to corridor. Bathtub drain did not drain, towels were stained with blood? Numerous electrical receptacles so old and worn that no plug would stay in them. Mold in HVAC unit. Mattresses cheap and bouncy - not what I expect at this price point and from a Holiday Inn.
