The point overlooks North Shore in Kamloops BC. It also has some historical information posted on the sign which describes more about the area. Kamloops has an almost Wild West feeling to it. There are several buildings which still have their character and the charm of what someone would expect to see in the west. Be prepared to experience very hot and dry summers (my curls won't stay and fall flat in minutes). There is a lot of hills and some are quite a challenge to try and climb. I've been here now for 3 days and every part of my lower half is in pain from trying to climb up the side of the mountain back to my hotel. I was looking for a place to swim today and this place stood out. To my surprize was just how gigantic it was!!! This place not only has an Olympic sized swimming pool but it also has a waterslide, several diving boards, a super hot steam room, 2 gyms, indoor and outdoor track, huge gymnastics room, 3 basket ball courts and more. If your ever in Kamloops I strongly recommend you check this out. They have day passes, monthly passes, and yearly plans. Now if it wasn't so hard to get to lol!
