“Nice dock and outdoor area. Location was perfect. Quiet. Scenic. Room was not very clean - bed wasn’t made, floor was dirty. Outside patio/grilling area had overflowing trash barrels entire time we were there. ”

“Excellent host, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Much appreciated!As far as the cabin, we absolutely loved it. Goofy weather (spring in Texas) kept the fish away but the kayaks definitely made up for it. Nice and quiet, but not secluded, so hopping over to Jefferson or the refuge was a short, easy drive.One big bed and a pullout couch was perfect for the three of us, and as others have noted, the huge screened in porch was fantastic. Overall highly recommend the cabin……

“Good location for the activities we had planned. We were able to book a rm. that sleeps 3. You book on line and you are told the check in and out times and that your door will be unlocked and the key on the table. Same way at check out. Leave door unlocked and key on the table. No staff is present. Actually, the door was locked 30 minutes past check in necessitating a call to the contact #. Someone showed maybe 10min. later. The water from the faucet was cloudy. The temp. was hard for us to……

“My children and I enjoyed the cabin for our little Spring Break getaway! I was appreciative of the extra sleeping options and that we were able to bring our dog to join us for our trip! The kids said their favorite part of the trip was paddling on the lake in the canoes!”

“Family-friendly. It rained, so we didn’t get to use kayaks, but we would love to come back and try again. RV spot in front yard was helpful because we had a large horse trailer with us. It does share driveway with two other houses, so have to watch where you park. ”
