Great one night stay
"Lovely stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a superior family room which was comfortable and well appointed. Nice modern bathroom, crisp sheets. Breakfast was self service - hot food was fresh and well cooked.
Decent little pool and sauna/steam room. Didn’t use the small gym but that didn’t look busy.
Very pretty location. We will be back. "

"A stopover on our way to Scotland - 4 or 5 miles from the M6. A warm welcome in the bar (and the beers) after battling the traffic on the M6 was just what I needed! We shared the fish platter which was great and finished off with a tasty pud. A good night’s sleep and an excellent cooked breakfast completed our night’s stay. All the staff were most helpful and friendly and the pub has lots of character. We shall call in again when travelling north!"
"We had a lovely stay here at the Shakespeare Inn. Rooms are away from the busier high streets. We had a quiet nights sleep. Staff are very friendly and accommodaating. "
