“Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard.”

“Another great stay . Spotless rooms and facilities (we stayed in the barn annexe). Staff excellent and breakfast first class. Lots of variety and uses local produce for their meals. We ate our evening meals there as well. Will definitely go back again . ”

“Once we arrived there, we found that the hotel was closed because of the strike. No explanation in advance. We had to book other hotel suddenly and we couldn't have a choice but to stay at a hotel that is far away. We can't believe it and we don't recommend all of you to stay here.”

“Lovely lodge . Perfect for 3 of us for a couple of days . Friends mini break. Only slight problem was it was slightly too warm in the night and the heating ( if that was what it was) was loud when it kept coming on in the night. That is being picky though and it is a beautiful lodge. ”
