Had a 2 night stay at the hotel in an Executive suite. The reception staff were very warm and welcoming & helpful. It was a business stay on a Friday and Saturday. Parking was good directly outside. Spacious room, very clean and tidy- the bed was absolutely huge and so comfortable it was very luxurious to sleep in after a hard days work.
There was a beautiful wedding on at the hotel and looked so beautiful and glamorous, it was lovely to see. Very much enjoyed the stay & would definitely stay again.
Many thanks

Staff have been cut to a minimum so often had to wait at reception for ages. The receptionist also seemed to be running the bar! The room was a great size (executive room) bit things were falling apart or not working. Tried a meal on Friday night but the (microwaved) fish and chips was uncooked inside. Got a refund and left. Plenty of potential but needs refurbishing and more staff. Also confusing: is this Ramada or Riverside?
Attentive staff..good value for money..huge room. Comfy bed..good bathroom and amenities

Reception looks modern and clean. And the staff both checking in and out were friendly and welcoming.
The room however was dated and the bathroom needs work due to cracked grouting, mould in the shower and just generally tired looking.
The bed was very springy but we appreciate they added an extra for my child for the booking.

Parking and check in were easy. We had to request a hair dryer and when that finally arrived we had noticed there was no tv remote control. So had to ask for that as well. The curtains were broken and hanging off the track in several places. The pipes made a squealing noise when the shower was turned on. Also the duvet was stained with red/brown spots (I believe it was laundered), I would expect housekeeping to notice this and discard the bedding with stains. The staff were very friendly and only charged me for two continental breakfasts as my 2 children didn’t eat much. That was very kind.

The hotel looks as if it was built in the 1970s/80s and the bathroom looked a little tired BUT the room was clean with a large bed with spotless bed linen and towels.
Close to a main road - didn't bother me. I closed the window and slept well. Heating/air con worked well.
The bar was closed - they looked like they were running the hotel with only 4 staff BUT the staff attention, cheerfulness and willingness to help was exemplary. Free parking - and plenty of it was much appreciated.
Close to the National Agric. Centre. Very good value.
Not the most luxe hotel in the world but because of its location, free parking and the sheer welcome of the staff I would happily stay there again.

Staff were helpful but to be advised at check in there was no bar available seemed a bit poor. This is our second time staying here as the first time was excellent however wont stay again. Feel the hotel could if advised via email before the check in date.
The room was clean and well-presented. There was no noise from the road and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
.
We ate in the restaurant and the food arrived hot and promptly. Would eat there again.
This was the old Ramada Kenilworth - worth remembering because the sign on the roundabout still refers to it as that and it has its own exit. Excellent dual carriageway links to Coventry.
If all the rooms have been renovated to the same standard as ours, the bad reviews should soon be a thing of the past. There is a very impressive ballroon / function suite to the right of reception.
Only thing missing - a chair (or two) in the bedroom.
Many thanks

We booked an "executive suite" which was described as having "separate living room" and "separate bedroom" in the listing on the website. When we arrived there was only one room and apparently what they had meant was the room contained a king size bed. We were traveling with a toddler so we were very disappointed to only have the one room. Further annoyance as the cot provided was broken (which we had rang in advance to confirm) and they didn't have any spares. This meant my toddler could climb out. The bed itself was comfy enough and the staff friendly and apologetic. We didn't try the restaurant or bar but they were open. I would not recommend for young families but as a single or couple it's probably fine.
Didn't eat or drink there, unfortunately, but was impressed by staff - they were personable and keen to help. Plenty of visible parking space - criminals would not be able to act in secret, so it felt safe. Room was comfortable and spacious, air conditioning worked well to cool or warm to the right temperature.

Lovely room, great shower, TV was ok, great location and best of all it has a car park !
I'm sad to offer this hotel is very tired; my room was not cleaned well and the bathroom was similarly dirty.
Very few staff available and this meant very slow service. Restaurant choices limited.
I nearly cancelled my stay after reading the reviews but I found them totally unfounded
My room was large had a comfy chair a desk would of been nice but bedside table moved so utilised that
Adequate choice of dinner choices friendly bar/wait staff
Check in was quick staff very polite provided extra tea bags when requested
Would definately stay again when overnighting for business as a woman single traveller I felt very safe
Our first room was dirty the next 3 we were shown were not much better we eventually settled on one which was the best of a bad lot. It was far from the executive suite we had booked basic room cheaply furnished carpet not clean no rainfall shower or pillow menu as advertised. Complaining fell on deaf ears. Complained twice to Expedia was promised a response to date have heard nothing…..
i never used the bar or dinning area as only stayed one night and ate at work. For me after hard day at work its about the room. The shower was hot and powerful and the bed was large and comfy. There was tea and coffee in the room and if i had one criticism only had brown sugar which is fine in coffee not so great in tea
