“The room was very clean and comfortable. However there was no remote for the tv and the telephone did not connect to reception. The staff provided us with a remote that did not work so that involved another walk back to reception. A very pleasant member of staff came back with me and ensured a further remote worked. Later on the tv. pixilated and did not work probably due to loose connection which we couldn't fix. Breakfast was very comprehensive and well done.”

“Could hear lots of movements from Other parts of hotel when trying to sleep and again early morning voices for first two nights. Got a different room for last night much better. Had breakfast one morning and was disappointed to be told at 8.30 chef not available. When suggested refund the manager went and cooked breakfast. Not great to good quality. Did not have breakfast again. Ps; toast was cold.”

“The steps up to the rooms are quite steep. Room 21 was very small; it is much smaller than any room we’ve stayed in before. Managing two large suitcases required strategic piecemeal unpacking and repacking. The twin beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent.”

“Room directly facing rubbish collection point, so flies flew in via the opened window. We immediately asked for another room, and the staff took actions promptly. But this room seemed to be vacant for some time, as it was quite dusty.”

“The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage. “Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just……

“The room was big and the bed comfy, with the staff friendly, however having just reopened it is in need of some work. One wall mounted socket (head height) for a TV coffee machine and a kettle, with the kettle cord not reaching the plug was not good. The amenities were lacking in the shower, and there was rust on the frame holding the wash hand basin in the bathroom. All of which was disappointing. Also £20 for breakfast was a bit steep!”

“Brownover Hall hotel is a beautiful and grand building. The rooms are nicely decorated and feel luxurious, but comfortable. The team at the hotel are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is great too. You don't need to leave the place to have a lovely time, but there is a retail park nearby if you fancy some shopping. Highly recommended.”

“位置偏僻但如果是度假的定位是可以接受的 這間飯店裝潢很有風格 房間舒適度應可以很高 但因清潔沒做好（前一晚有慶祝婚禮 我們的房間有一間有很重的狗臭味 另一間則是衛浴有臭味） 我個人覺得滿意 但住不同房間的同行友人卻覺得清潔沒做好而留下壞印象”

“Site restaurant was handy with a great cheeseburger. Bed was great with 4 pillows for each of us. It’s several miles from the airport, so be sure to plan for the shuttle/taxi ride.”
