Being on a college campus did make arrival somewhat confusing. That was the end of any issues I had with this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous from jump. A problem I had in the room upon arrival was rectified immediately. Parking was a bit pricey, but worth it and close by. I most definitely will be chosing this location anytime I have to come to DC.

We chose the hotel because it had a spa, which didnt disappoint and an outdoor pool. Overall hotel is very well maintained. Pool area a little small for the amount of guests, not enough lounge chairs..However Moises at the pool bar is a gem. Smiles easily, patient- considering ordering food can be challenging...he could use a food runner when its busy. Hotel ambience upscale and we felt safe. Our room was very nice and clean, Updated decor, spacious. Complimentary soap, shampoo etc were very, very nice. The view from our room not so nice as we mainly faced a brick wall, they should have discussed a possible upgrade$$?? Fortunately, we were only in the room for the most part to shower and sleep. Room was very quiet. The Restaurant wasvery busy and was challenged at breakfast time...seating and service experienced delays but the staff was always pleasant. Breakfast was pricey. Location on the Wharf was excellent. Would definitely stay again but would discuss room location and possible breakfast included price!

This was a very nice hotel for the price. It very easy to walk to the Metro station. Felt very safe. Hotel was very clean and the room was very nice! I would definitely go back!

I would have given this a higher rating but felt assaulted when we entered the portico and into the hotel. The large pictures of seductive young men were offensive to us. The decor of the worn out carpet didn’t help. Then realizing it had been a church was insulting. The water pressure was difficult in our bathroom. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The rooms were clean.

I love this hotel, and decided to book it again because I had a wonderful experience the first time but when I got there at 10:20-10:30am the lady was really rude kind of treated me like I was a criminal almost based off my appearance coming off a 4 train ride, when I finally got to check in the lady didn’t ask none of the caucasian customers for ID coming in and held my ID for at least 5 minutes looking at it hard, when she gave it back to me more customers coming in to check in that wasn’t caucasian had there ID check for less then a second and got there right back. As I went to check in my room the iPad wasn’t charged I couldn’t enjoyed my full room experience because the ID controls the room, I was there a for 3 days and that iPad wasn’t charged on the charger the whole time and wasn’t charging, I told the maintenance/housekeeper about it and left her $20 dollars as a thank you and had my wife translate in Spanish to her and still didn’t care or did nothing about it, so on my second day I told a new staff member which was a guy and he told me give it some time it will charge if not he will give me a new one I went back that night nobody was in the check in lobby but security, and even he was rude, telling me to use my head and common sense why would anyone be in the lobby at 11pm-12am I said ok thank you went back to my hot room and went straight to sleep, honestly I deserve some type of compensation or something regarding this matter
