The staff were attentive, the rooms were very clean, and the location is convenient, close to a grocery store. Downsides were some road noise at night, a strong chemical smell in the room at first (which improved after housekeeping cleaned the floor), and limited breakfast options beyond scones. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Peg and Jonathan made us feel at home. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The resort is beautifully landscaped and the rooms are clean, wonderfully furnished and the perfect place to relax. The pool is so refreshing and the water is kept at a delightful temperature. The beach area is equipped with loungers, chairs, tiki huts, dock and manicured grass. My husband and I floated on pool noodles in the shallow water of the bay. So relaxing. One of the many highlights of the stay was the morning scones with coffee or tea. I had apple cinnamon walnut and my husband had cheddar jalapeno. Please don’t do business with people like these or places like this, they run this place like a daycare want to tell people what to do, watch them like criminals and treat them worse. The owners are a piece of crap and should not run any business in our country like this, it’s crazy the stupid narcissistic rules and attitudes they have.
