Did find gloves (clean) in one of the beds. This property looks like it was once the biggest and best of Keystone, but a filled in pool and age shows otherwise now. Was good and clean and reasonable, but nothing spectacular. Good location. You can see three of the four presidents on the mountain. Sorry Teddy!

The staff was the best calling to communicate and give instructions where to find my keys since I was going to arrive late night. I just did not like the beds make a lot of a squeaky noise. I would recommend as a one night stay, is very close to Mound Rushmore

We could see Mt Rushmore from our balcony and the front desk attendant was extremely sweet. However there is not enough parking for the number of rooms they have. Also the room had a window unit for a/c and the beds were not comfortable. If you just want a place to sleep for a night it is fine. But it’s an older hotel and needs some updating.

The room wasn't clean and arrived early and was told room wasn't ready. She said not til 3pm. So when we arrived at 430pm, we went to room it had a bad odor of urine and sheets hadn't been changed because they were dirty. Rather not go into details but in was terrible

The location of the property is amazing. The shooping area is just walkable. However, the condition of the property is average as it needs renovation. It looks too old, especially the carpet and the beddings. The elevator, heating/AC unit etc all work fine. Our room also had a mini fridge and a microwave along with an old TV with 6-7 channels. The view of Mt. Rushmore from the balcony in front of our room was nice. If they can just update the flooring of the rooms and balcony, and change the comforters/beddings, this property will look great.

Excellent location for all of the popular sights and Black Hill scenic drive. The rooms are extremely outdated & worn. Chris & the desk staff were great! Good value. No fridge, coffee maker, or microwave in the room but coffee is available 24 hrs in the lobby. We were only there to sleep, so the economic value made the short comings acceptable.
