“We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great selection. A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. The lady at reception was also lovely and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival. All the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. “Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by……

“the Talbot was a little tired ( although it was erected in the middle fifteenth century ), quite quirky, sloping floors, in need of a refurb. Manager Craig was a great host, bar staff Darren & Bren were also top guys. Good selection of beers on tap. Room adequate, bathroom good. Hotel position is a great spot for exploring the area.”
