"If you didn't know Gallops had a motel above the store, well neither did I! I will start by saying I didn't know they would be charging an additional $150 on top of the $100 for the room, with the promise of returning it in 4-5 business days if the room was clean and orderly. We had the extra but in case others don't, remember that. Anyways, the guys behind the counter were fine. Some were a little hard to understand but we got checked in and up to the room. The room was spotless. It's weird because it's concrete with a rug but it's cleaner that way because there's no carpet, no place for dirt or bugs to hide. The shower was huge and has a waterfall feature with GREAT water pressure. It's mostly quiet until the wee morning hours then I swear you can hear every phone alarm go off on the entire floor. That didn't ruin it for me. You got an IHOP and Mexican restaurant and convenience store a few steps from you. The store itself is impressively stocked, boiled peanuts, fresh pizza, coffee, nachos and cheese, toys, candy, novelty things, household stuff, car stuff. And they have some arcade games down there, too. Really neat lil place and not too many people know about it. I would recommend it to anyone who is passing by."
