"The property is exactly as I pictured it would be, the perfect location to explore the South Island of New Zealand. The size of the house was perfect for my wife and me and it was equipped for a small fajitas dinner and a couple of small breakfasts. The only issue was that the views from the property made it hard to leave since it was so breathtaking. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Beautiful, magnificent views of the landscape, quiet, peaceful, fresh air, safe and secure. I didn't like the dining chairs. Unsafe to sit on as they are on an incline. My daughter-in-law fell backwards while sitting on the chair while her son was sitting on her lap. She nearly hit her head against the wooden bench. No freezer available and no exhaust fan above the cooking stove. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crow's Nest holiday home. Thank you."

"Overall clean and close to town centre. No view. Heater in bathroom does not produce heat. Element u/s perhaps. Dry function on washer/dryer non operational. Heat isolated or dead. 3 hrs @ high temp produced clothes as wet as when they went in. Sure they enjoyed being tumbled for 3 hrs."

"Nice comfortable property, we did enjoy the stay however there were a few dissapointments. Previous tenants dirty bed linen was in a bundle in the wardrobe. Asked about heating before we arrived and did not get a reply until after we arrived. TV took a while to "warm up" with a very dark faint picture and when it did start working the picture was black and white, we adised the property manager about this and never received a reply. "Great location however it was the only bonus. Cleanliness just hit the par, appliances also just hit the par. However couches and overall decor was sub par with big tears in them. Bathroom facilities were also underwhelming, shower not suitable for taller people. As said, location is one of the only things going for it aside from parking. As a bookabach owner myself, don’t like to leave a negative review, nevertheless this left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall very disappointing for the money...

"Very unprofessional with the way this property is advertised. There are major roadworks going on right outsdethe front door. There is no footpath anymore and a giant ditch dug into the middle of the road. There also isn't any off-street parking or any roadside parking. But they don't inform you of any of this until 6 days beforehand. The roadworks has been going on for over a year. They also don't release the addres of the property until the last minute either. I guess so that you can't check it...

"The house was freezing when we checked in therefore cold for the rest of the night and stay because of insufficient heating and poor condition of the house. The main bedroom door doesn’t shut therefore you have to push a suitcase against it to stop it from opening The condition of the house is extremely poor. "The apartment was very spacious, clean and the heating was sufficient. Just be aware that one needs to be physically able to drag the luggage up a steep walk way as there is no lift."
