“We visited for the weekend as a gift from my parents (Sarah) for my undergraduate graduation. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon! We hiked various trails in Hickory Run State Park (over 10 miles!) and visited the lovely Jim Thorpe (enjoyed his memorial and the old jail). The visitors center at Hickory Run State Park was beautiful and eating out at the Waterfront and Dom ‘n Ali’s was so much fun! Your home was beautiful, clean, and peaceful! “We had a great stay at the Chalet. It was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings were very inviting. The Chalet is a quick 10-15 minute drive from all the dining and shopping in Jim Thorpe. We went back and forth a few times and it was super easy. Would definitely recommend staying here! We'll be back in the warmer (less icey) weather to do some hiking and more exploring! ”

“Overall a good stay. Enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and game room. House could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival - primarily the outdoor deck space that was covered in leaves and dirt. The kitchen is lacking some cookware and the pots and pans could use replacing. Living room setup is awkward and not very conducive to spending time with your group. We spent most of our time outside on the deck. We asked host for early check in which was granted, but we did not receive the access code at our……
