“Hotel très bien situé, chambre propre, petite mais agréable, personnels agréables et serviables, mais malheureusement nous n'avons rien dormi, le radiateur a fait un bruit d'eau qui coule tout la nuit, impossible de l'arrêter ou de le purger, la réception fermant à 19h, le téléphone à contacter encas d'urgence n'a jamais répondu, l'accès au garage est également fermé, donc impossible de partir, dommage 88 euros pour regarder la télé la nuit !!!”

“Lovely and calm boutique hotel in the outskirts of Sisteron. Such a little gem of a place, old houses beautifully redecorated with a stunning patio area and a mountain backdrop. We arrived late in the evening but the owner still arranged for an apéro dînatoire for us. Can highly recommend the hotel. ”

“Tres bon accueil”

“The place is a large farmhouse, 1000 years ago it was used by farming monks. 15 minutes from Barcelonette and everything the Ubaye valley and the Mercantour have to offer (We're hikers, but folks come here to bike or drive their Porsches on mountain roads too). Diane and Frederic are wonderful and attentive hosts and the home made breakfast will definitely make you come for more.”

“Nice stay”

“The reception area is on the first floor, accessed by a long staircase (no lift). Our room was on the second floor, up another two flights of stairs, one of which has uneven steps. The room was very stylish but not very practical. Very little storage space and no air conditioning.”

“Chambre basique mais propre qui aurait été plus efficace si un porte-bagages, de plus grandes table de chevet et deux serviettes/personne plutôt qu’une étaient d’emblée fournies. De la chambre, nous entendions clairement tout ce qui se disait dans le corridor. Heureusement la nuit a été tranquille. Dans l’environnement morose de Digne-les-bains peut-être était-ce le meilleur hotel… côté nourriture, les petits déjeuners étaient bien mais le dîner à peine mangeable: plats beaucoup BEAUCOUP trop……

“The moment my friends and I stepped into the hotel we felt welcome. Ilse & Peter immediately made us feel at home and the fact that I could speak in my very foreign Afrikaans language, and they understood me, made it even more special! It's a great place to stay over, or perhaps to have a holiday (which I will do sometime with the family). The location is spectacular, in a pine forest and super relaxing and away from everything. I can attest to the fact that this is definitely a bikers' venue.……
