“I stayed at the American Inn in Sedalia, Mo on August 22, 2026 to attend the Stare Fair evening Concert. I rented a room with two double beds for $255 per night. I have since discovered the room usually rents for $50 per night. The hotel was dirty, barely had room for two full size beds, stains on bedspreads thin dingy towels and washcloths… and had roaches crawling up the wall the next morning. I was definitely price gouged because of the Fair. I thought at the price I was paying having……

“Well, we like that it was clean, but the mattress was just something to not desire. You lay on the bed and it went flat. You would almost fall off your TV was hard to get on and off but other than that it was delightful place to be for the first time.”

“Our room did Not have toilet tissue, I had to send my husband to the office to get a roll while I sat there. The room had a strong air freshener smell. The beds were not comfortable, old mattress.”
