“The floors were filthy when we arrived. After messaging the host, he had them cleaned. It should have been clean when we arrived. Thermostat kept changing itself back to a warmer temperature each day while we were gone. So we came back to a warm unit. There were ants in the kitchen that got into our dogs’ food dish. No hair dryer or broom, even though those things were listed as amenities. ”

“What an unexpected surprise! The simple, humble exterior did not prepare us for the treat. We found upon opening the door. Ms. Ada‘s lovely home was soon filled with “oohs and ahhs”! Every nook and corner gave us a new expression of joy! Though here for the lyceum performance of a Christmas Carol, our stay here has become a highlight in and of itself. “Smelled of cigarettes and cooking oil. Please, if you have kids do not take them into this neighborhood. The house is in very rough shape, there is sketchy wiring throughout, lots of stairs that are not to code, very hot upstairs, and dirt that is just throughout the house - - because it needs to be gutted if it is going to be clean again. If this had been listed as a smoking house - - I would have stayed away. Pictures are deceiving - the 1.2 bath you can not turn around in and the neighbors……
