La Rose Vacations from $459

Fine location. Nice room. No coffee machine though

Property was clean and staff was friendly

Great place, on a quieter edge of the French quarter and very close enough to the nightlife area. The residence is beautiful and staff are friendly and helpful, simply said they are excellent. Nice breakfast and pool. So many things to do, see and eat within walking distance. I suggest every head up the road and go to the sculpture park, it’s amazing. We will be back.

We come down to NOLA at least once a year. First time staying at the Sheraton on Canal St and the staff is great! Everyone very kind and helpful. The rooms could use a good deep clean and some updating. The carpet was extremely dirty. It is dark brown and you could see black stains all over it. The edges were so dusty they were white. Our socks were filthy from walking on it. I’m not sure what was happening with the air conditioning but every time it kicked on there were visible particles in the air. It’s too bad because the staff is amazing. The Westin or Hyatt Centric are much cleaner.

Did not like that it wasn't clear it was a "timeshare" type resort. We sat thru a presentation that was a waste of our time & the sales rep. Our room had many issues that required maintenance. We were told someone would come to our room to address the problems, which never happened. Larger gaps in the floor tile grout lines that were obvious. The bedroom lighting was insufficient. The bathroom mirror lighting insufficient. The fan came on with the mirror light instead of the shower. The shower head was leaking like a sieve and could not be adjusted. The bathtub/shower floor was slippery (had to put a towel down for traction) The step out of the bathtub/shower was too deep. There needed to be a ceiling fan in the living room/kitchen area for circulation. The placement of the HVAC right near the sofa made hearing the TV very difficult. The thermostat was too high on the wall for me to see. The room as a whole did not give a good presentation of the hotel accommodations. The staff were all very friendly & helpful.
