"This was a nice, clean home to stay in for our week long stay. Check in was so easy, and Dan, the owner, let us check in early. The house was super clean, the rooms were nice, and the air conditioning worked wonderfully. The backyard was awesome with plenty of shade, misters that cooled the temperature down 15-20 degrees, a built in bbq in the shade, tons of seating, an outdoor TV(we used to listen to music), and a pool with a waterfall. The pool lights up well at night and beautifies the pool...

"This hotel is great. Easy to get in and out of, super close to the lake, convenient to everything, and the staff were wonderful. My only tiny gripe was the ac in the room didn’t work so well for the room having two rooms and only a fan you couldn’t control in the second room. The ac was not powerful enough to cool every thing and the ceiling fan was set at the lowest setting with no control or chain to make it go faster for circulation. But other than that I would absolutely stay here again. "

"One of the better hotels in LHC. Nice rooms, good breakfast, plenty of parking and large ice machine to fill ice chests for a day out on the lake (huge convenience). Only drawback was the pool was too damn hot."

"This was our 2nd time staying at The Heat. The rooms are spacious and clean and the location on the channel can't be beat! We also love that the whole property is pet friendly!"

"Wheter was really hot. 114 degrees but we set up a tent near the lake and we enjoyed every minute. Rooms are very close to the lake. Pool was open until 11pm plenty of parking spaces available. "

"I booked and checked in online. The entire process was a breeze. I coordinated with Terry prior to my arrival. Terry is such a lovely woman. She went over and above her duties. She put me in a fabulous room on the first floor adjacent to the pool, which was a great surprise as my elderly mother has trouble walking."
