“We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023.The room was nice and spacious with a lovely big comfy bed and mini fridge in the cupboard. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! We got the feeling this hotel is more geared towards businesspeople from……

“The grounds of the hotel are the highlight - beautiful views, gardens and drinking/dining areas both inside and outside. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. Customer service is excellent. Minor negative points are that the wifi is a bit hit and miss at times which can be problematic for business travellers, and there was a lot of construction noise near to our rooms, which started early and finished late. Not the end of the world, but bring earplugs. ”
