"A fantastic place to stay. The location was perfect, country walks from the doorstep and the coast 9 miles away. A small shop a few miles away and a pub within a mile. Woodpeckers is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. The enclosed garden was a bonus. Sitting in the conservatory looking across the countryside was calm and peaceful. Overall a great place. We would definitely return and recommend."

"What a fantastic stay. We chose this property as we needed to vacate our home whilst work was being done, but it ended up so much more than just a place to lay our heads. The location, near the main road was ideal, but actually very quiet, as it was set down a hill. Pauline, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating, finding extra parking for us and sorting out things very quickly. The location was brilliant, especially for our 2 dogs who loved the peaceful walks in the near vacinity"

The configuration of the apartment was perfect: there are two double beds on the top floor, all kind of in the same room but separated by a wall (it makes sense once you see it), which was perfect for us. "The barn was beautiful and very well equipped. There were even board games provided to play and quite little hamper containing marmalade, biscuits, wine and milk in the fridge. The grounds were not huge but are very pretty.Me and my husband booked for our first family getaway away with our baby and dog. The barn was advertised as pet friendly but once we got there the information provided in the property said that dogs were not allowed on the furniture or upstairs. Our dog has always slept in...

"We loved the cottage. The garden was great for the dogs and the cottage was pretty. We were looking for somewhere remote and away from the rush and pressure of life and this was perfect. There are lots of lovely places to go or just relax in the garden or summerhouse. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom really beautiful. It was easy to cook for meals in the cottage and there a shops a short drive away. The owners were lovely - really kind and going the extra mile."
