"The room could have done with a little updating, but the hotel itself was excellent. Modernisation work is going on in the reception area which was noisy whilst having breakfast in the restaurant, but that didn’t spoil our stay. The hotel is ideally placed for Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Buses and underground or within a very short walk. All in all a very pleasant stay, will be returning again soon."

"We were told our room with city view and would cost £60 per night for a upgrade with river view, we didn't accept. We ended up with a room with a window of no view! I meant No View, period !"
