1163 Milroy Grose Rd. Lansing, WV 25862. Our luxurious Cabins are located minutes from Adventures on the Gorge and the Gauley River National Recreation Area as well as the largest lake in West Virginia. Summersville Lake.

We are in an outdoor recreation area offering the best in whitewater rafting, kayaking, Ziplining (We own Gravity-New River Gorge Zip Lines) Our large local outfitter operates it for us along with their many activities at Adventures on the Gorge. They offer these activities along with hiking, rock-climbing, caving, biking, fishing trips and several other activities. They are only a couple miles away and have 4 restaurants along with a beautiful pool of which you receive an evening pass to, by booking a daytime activity with them. You will receive a 10% discount on any activity they offer by mentioning that Mill Creek Cabins sent you.
We have 2 cabins this size that are close to everything, but in a secluded wooded setting.
These cabins have 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each downstairs. We have 2 queens in a loft bedroom. Full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen, all linens, paper products, dish and hand soap as well as a couple trash bags. If you have a large group, we suggest you bring some extra paper towels, and trash bags. Most guests do so without saying. Cell tower on the property and free WIFI. Large Smart TV. Outside we have a nice hot tub on a covered porch, a charcoal grill and picnic table. We also have a firepit for a nice evening campfire under the stars. We have wood available.
These cabins do have washers and dryers for your convenience.

Great experience!

This cabin was perfect for us! It was very clean, and had everything we needed. It was a great location. This was a perfect place to see wildlife. The first morning we woke up to a bunch of baby deer sleeping behind the cabin. The next morning, we even saw a bear cub wandering around. We also saw wild turkeys.

What a Great Cabin!!

This property was exactly like the pictures. I absolutely loved everything about this place!The Hot Tub was heavenly, had a fantastic at the Gorge, the River, The Bridge!I can’t wait to come back!!!!

The cabin was great, located close to all the points of interest for this trip. The only suggestions we have are the stairs need some sort of simple light source for safety and a swing/hammock outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Family getaway

Our stay was very pleasant. We were traveling with our parents and adult children. The cabin was clean, in a nice secluded and quiet location. There was plenty of room for all. We made use of the grill and the fire ring. Check in and check out very easy. Host was pleasant and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

Fall get away

Grade setting. No other cabins or houses in view. Placed to put up a tent. Had nice fires and plenty of firewood in the area. Enjoyed the hot tub. Did not spend much time in a cabin but provided great accommodations. Would definitely book again

Cozy cabin with everything you need

Check in was easy and the cabin was clean and nicely kept. The kitchen had plenty of items to whip up an amazing breakfast before we set out on the river. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and the cabin has an overall cozy feel. The hot tub was a nice touch after a day on the rapids for sure! The area is absolutely beautiful and the cabin is centrally located near local attractions but just off the beaten path to allow for serenity. Would definitely stay again!

Father’s Day weekend

We enjoyed how this property was tucked back a bit. We couldn’t see our neighbors which was nice. I also appreciated firewood being on the property. We got full use of the fire pit and grill. Parking was easy and it was easy to find the cabin. The check in and out were smooth. There were a couple of oddities but were extremely minor inconveniences. There is no dishwasher, and the bathroom door downstairs locks itself sometimes and only one of us could figure out how to unlock it. But overall these small things did not dampen our great weekend!

Secluded cabin in the woods

This is a great cabin. Check in and check out is easy. No one bothers you, so you can come and go as you please. You see nature and its quiet. It is just like a home away from home. Yes, some of the outside items were dirty but it is a cabin in the woods so that should be expected. You do need a 4 × 4 to get to cabin 8 but if you have this its easy. Its close to the areas attractions. My only complaint would be that one of the beds was very hard, which unfortunately was my bed. My family had comfortable beds. I ended up on the couch. Some people like firm mattresses but it didn't work for any of us. Overall, it is a great cabin and great place to stay. My family and I would stay there again. (We just might bring an air mattress next time)

Cabin in the woods

This property was a great location for the bridge walk and hiking our family wanted to do. The inside of the cabin was very clean and offered every thing we needed. The outside hot tub area - felt dark and dingy. The hot tub itself was clean but there was a lot damp piles of leaves all around it. The whole porch area needed a good cleaning. We actually took the time to sweep up all the leaves, take the wet rug and someone else’s damp towell left in all the leaves out to dry. If we had a power washer we would have used it on the whole area. The 45 minutes we took to clean up the area should have been done by the cleaning crew. That’s what all the extra fees are about right?? Overall we got the cabin in the woods feeling we were looking for. Our host was very good - she answered all our questions whenever we reached out to her. Thank u!!

Perfect location for Adventures on the Gorge and the Bridge Walk. The grill is brand new but we chose to make s’mores and hotdogs over the fire instead. The chairs at the fire pit are usable but we like our campfire chairs better and always pack them if we plan to sit around a fire. There is a nice picnic table too. The cabin was cozy and spacious with three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. It was nice and private, and while the driveway is steep we managed it just fine in our front-wheel drive. Even though it is private and secluded you can still hear 119 from the property, but that would be true of any property close enough to the attractions to be convenient. We received the check-in code and information the morning of our arrival and all questions were promptly answered. We would stay here again and hope to.

Beautiful Cabin

Would definitely stay here again. A beautiful cabin and a great location to everything. Only downside was the decently sized steep hill, but we knew about it before going. I would definitely stay here again! We couldn’t find trash bags for some reason but that’s a small thing so no reason to complain about it.

Cozy and Secluded

A perfect place to spend three days. Cabin had everything we needed, and was big enough for two families with kids, but was still cozy. Enjoyed a fire each night and spent the days hiking and exploring the area. Would definitely recommend.

We will definitely be back in the future! We had originally booked cabin #8, before check-in we were contacted and informed we were being moved to a larger cabin, for the same price. Beds and pillows were very comfortable!Hot tub was very clean & hot, it was perfect! Communication with the host was extraordinary!

Wonderful Time

This cabin was wonderful and the booking was easy. The host Billie was also excellent with communication. It is a slight challenge to get up the hill to the cabin but as long as you have 4 wheel or AWD you should be fine. My teens and I loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Mill Creek Cabin a little disappointed

I would have loved to give this a great rating. The cabin was exactly what I expected, rustic and private. Our first impression was great. The cabin was clean and spacious. But on closer look there were a few things needing attention. Outside the grill should be replaced. We wnet to Lowes to buy one we could cook on. The chairs around the fire pit are old and rusty. Inside there is little glassware, just 2 old plastic wine glasses, 1 cocktail glass and a few tumblers. The utensil drawers are broken. The first time I opened one it fell out of the cabinet. The toaster didn't work. All of this aside we enjoyed our stay but few dollars spent on replacing old, broken or missing items would go a long way.

The accommodations were nice, however the shower temperature and pressure were low (likely a result of the cabin location being high on a hill). I appreciated having access to a washer and dryer to wash clothes after white water rafting.

Secluded & Private

We enjoyed the privacy. It was nice & cozy being surrounded by woods.The road was a little steep & a little rough getting up to the cabin but we were aware of it before we booked.
