“We had a wonderful time in these smart Shepherd’s huts. Such a good idea to have two! They are well equipped and are nestled in woodland on the edge of the host’s garden. It’s a bit of idyllic escapism. The host is lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived to find freshly baked bread. We were given lots of local information and enjoyed eating out in the recommended local pubs. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are lots of places to visit. We hope to……

“One of the best stays I’ve had. Very good value for money, absolutely lovely house and host, I would strongly recommend! It’s isolated and located right on a rich network of footpaths which is perfect for a countryside retreat. In December, the garden and surroundings were still full of birds and interesting mushrooms. Lovely attention to details, little messages throughout the house, a truly special place full of history! The owners are lovely and I was lucky enough to have a chat over tea with……

“We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience ”
