"We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, the living room was very cosy and everything was clean upon arrival. The bedrooms were tastefully furnished and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The skiing was great; nice slopes and easy access from Morillon to Samoëns and Flaine. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. They offered tips for activities and restaurants and were always available to answer questions. Highly recommended for a relaxing vacation!"

"As Americans, we had no experience with the area but trusted the exceptional reviews that chalet Marmot has. It was INCREDIBLE.Great views, easy check in process, close to 3 chair lifts for skiing. The chalet could comfortably take 3-4 families and we were happy there with out 2 families.Slightly off the beaten path, this place felt lived in but modern and beautiful, which is exactly what we had hoped for. Although further from an airport you'll have easy access (less than 5 minutes) to downtown Samoens, a large grocery store and restaurants. If your family are avid skiers or just want an authentic French Alps experience, I cant recommend this place enough. "

"Brilliant apartment in a great location! Really well equipped for self catering. There was 4 of us (2adults 2 children) and there was loads of room for us plus all our skiing gear. Bed and mattress in main bedroom could do with replacing as could bed linen (and you have to make your own beds) but kids thought their beds were very comfortable! The parking is at the main car park just on the edge of the village but it's not far to walk and you can drive to the apartment to load/unload etc. "

"Gondola is 10 min walk. Chatlet is well appointed, clean and as billed. Skiing was spectacular and Sophie was so kind and available throughout the stay. "

Lovely bonus of a communal swimming pool (though not the warmest!!) which the children loved. "The best apartment we have stayed at in Les Esserts over the last 5 years. The apartment was lovely and clean and well positioned very close to the ski lift and shops. There was plenty of room for our party of six and lots of games and good amenities in the apartment. Sian was a perfect host with great communication and very helpful with things to do in the area. "This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. After needing to call for clarification, we were given a separate address that led us to the same location. There is no parking at the actual hotel because of construction. You have to park down the road. I asked at check in why they did not address this on their site or in communications. They said if we had reserved through them, they would have, but because we reserved through Expedia, "We don't choose to." The hotel is incredibly run down. The room was awful. Everything looked dirty. They give you pachaged sheets and towels (yes, you get the pleasure of bothmaking AND unmaking your own "bed"), many of which were either dirty or had permanent staining. The mattresses, furniture, etc. were all clearly from the hotel's inception probably 50 years ago. Just imagine what those "mattresses" have seen. You get flat sheets to throw over said mattresses. The mattresses might as well be from the days when they were filled with straw they were so hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom sink sprayed you with water when turned on and the shower had drainage issues. The walls were thin. We could hear those around us. There were black beetles on the floor. They charged us 2x for one payment"
