“On our short trips in England and Wales, we again decided to travel to Whitby, to the paradise in a bottle. “The flat was absolutely brilliant, the area it’s in was brilliant for our stay, unloading the car was easy the rooms where bright and very clean and it had everything you could possible need for a short stay.The stairs going up to the flat are quite brutal ( I’ve got a bad knee ) but it was outweighed by the veranda over looking the estuary.Will definitely be staying again and cannot recommend enough Mr Barrett ”

“I’ve stayed here a few times and it is always good value for money and easy to use, the communication with the host is good and the different choice of rooms is good. Free parking is available overnight a few minutes walk away after 6pm. Place is always clean and quiet.”

“My friend, I & great nephew 13yrs enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this property. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated though the white furniture could do with a lick of paint. Having both a bath & a shower was great. Kitchen was well equipped , clean & a welcome pack was left for us. However the kitchen itself could do with being modernised . Lounge was very comfortable & bright. Lots of nice pictures & ornaments around the house which made it welcoming. The entrance flooring could do……

“Lighthouse was absolutely perfect for a group pf x 3 friends to enjoy time together. What`s not to like about sea views, coastal walking and glorious sunshine ? Internally the lighthouse is tastefully themed all things "sea", comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Fabulous.”

“Larpool Mill is delightful, full of rustic charm without sacrificing comfort and convenience.The property is very spacious and well set out, everything one might need has been provided. The ‘welcome pack’ was a nice gesture too.The garden is large and the situation very quiet, especially so as the small road outside was closed to traffic while we were there. “Nice and easy check in ...the lady on reception was very helpful and friendly...the room was a large apartment and very clean and a high standard enough tea and coffee for your stay ... fresh cakes on arrival and a small bottle of milk ....swimming pool was nice...small but very child friendly....
They were upgrading the bar so couldn't use that which aasnt a problem

“The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊”
