“The property was great as the views were breathtaking, the villa was quite spacious and comfortable. The only thing lacking was air conditioning in the kitchen and dining area. Nicole the chef was outstanding, engaging and lots of fun. She made the Villa Alfresco an experience to remember. Gerald, the custodian, was always willing to lend a helping hand and provided constant care on a daily basis to see if anything was lacking. The experience was beyond expectations. “The accommodations were excellent with plenty of space for our group. The hosts were more than accommodating and helped with rental car arrangements and tour companies. They also were excellent cooks and we enjoyed many meals prepared by them. ”

“DIfficult to fault anything about the villa or our time here. It is about 30 minutes drive South of Florence and somewhat less to the tramline if you want to avoid driving into the city. It is also superbly placed for seeing the beautiful Tuscan countryside. There is also a smaller but well stocked supermarket in Impruneta and a larger supermarket about 20 minutes away and so provisioning your stay is easy.The villa was clean and the two people helping out with laundry and setting out breakfast……

“Our family of 6 loved staying at this quaint villa tucked amongst the vines & the olive trees of Tuscany. Magnificent views, great pool, lovely outdoor area, country kitchen and cozy beds with air conditioning. It is conveniently located near villages with restaurants, shops etc, but nicely distanced so your stay is more like a retreat from the noise. I would highly recommend this for a family vacation! The owners were very welcoming and helpful if you need tips/tours. They’re chefs and can also……

“The villa is in a breathtaking setting where we watched beautiful sunsets from the olive grove & saw stars at night but was a short drive into Florence. The pool was lovely after a hot day in the city. We were conveniently near vineyards for wine tasting. The villa was perfect for our family of adult children & us. We ate several dinners in enjoying the wine we discovered during the day. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The manager was very kind to supply us with a few items……

“Piccolo borgo nei paraggi di Vaiano struttura completamente ristruttura, molto curata nei particolari e nella pulizia, posto ideale per rilassarsi (si può fare del trekking nelle vicinanze). Sicuramente da riprovare in periodi più caldi per sfruttare la bellissima piscina con vista sulle colline. Tutto direi ottimo”

“This is an amazing Villa with a great pool, close to a local village with pharmacy, bakery and lovely local restaurants, be sure to book as they are very popular. Great location to visit Florence, Pizza and Lucca. If you visit in August check out the Puccini festival open air opera opera. We would definitely go back and stay. You do need a car.”
