“The couple that runs the hotel were both friendly. Although the hotel has dated fixtures and furnishings, the room was clean, the mattress was newer and comfortable, and the entire room was comfortable. “Overall excellent, but I noticed two things that need improvement. First, the heater, air conditioner/heater seemed to be working independently of the thermostat. I finally got the temperature to be comfortable, but it required a lot of experimentation. Also, there was snow and ice outside the exit that was not addressed in a timely fashion. I almost fell as I was exiting the first time in the morning. That was at 9:00AM.”
