“The cabin and jetted tub were great and the people were nice. Two issues. View from the cabin is looking across the street where the little creek ran. All the cabins on that side of the road are pretty much demolished and part of the structures are still standing. This is from the flood a year back. So there is no pretty view from the cabin. “What a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed every minute at this property during a gorgeous Ruidoso weekend. We did a "make your own pizza" party on Friday night and everyone had a blast not to mention tasty pizza. The only negative I can think of is now my wife wants her own pizza oven lol. Took my daughter to the mountain roller coaster on Saturday then souvenir shopping downtown. Got back right around dinner and relaxed with a nice soak in a very nice hot tub. You can tell when you are there……

“EXPEDIA miss represented these cabins… Look at the company, upper canyon lodging website ahead of time. When booking through Expedia you don’t really know which cabin you’re going to get assigned to. Aside from that. These cabins definitely aren’t worth the money you’re going to pay for. You’ll get one towel, it’s pretty dirty. On the bright side, it’s in a great area, it has great amenities… I guess it’s cozy… it was great to take all my crap out of my truck from my long road trip and clean up……

“The cabin was immaculately clean. We really loved the decor and felt especially safe with the "Duke" keeping watch over us! Enjoyed our mornings on the deck. “The location was good and living room was nice for game nights. Host was quick with responses and good communication. Stove and microwave were new and great but there was a lot of down sides to the rest of our stay. The hot tub was extremely dirty as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We had to purchase our own nets to clean it ourselves and the chlorine was crystallized at the bottom. There was some water damage and mold on the roof. 2 out of 6 smoke detectors worked.
