“The host was super attentive. The house itself is a little off the beaten path, which was exactly what we were looking for. There's an outdoor firepit, and indoor wood burning stove with firewood available for use. The beds are comfortable, and TVs in each room. “Due to where this house sits, you have to go up a pretty good incline with loose gravel/rock. You could make it with a 2-wheel drive vehicle from one side, but 4-wheel drive is recommended. Once you get up there, you won't want to leave though...both for the view and then inconvenience of coming back down the hill...so get everything you need first so you don't have to leave again! It was a good stay even with the high winds during our visit. We would definitely go back.”

“We were sad to see so much destruction from floods as we drove in to property. A cabin we stayed at a few years ago was ruined. Two next to our parking space were ruined as well. So sad! “This place was truly amazing from comfort to peacefulness! The host was also amazing and easy to connect with if anything was needed. The place was clean and cozy and had a beautiful view! We could easily walk to every place we needed to go in town! This was our frist time in Ruidoso and will come back and stay at this same place in the future, we loved it!!!”
