I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. I had to advocate for myself and explain that I had a valid confirmation number and nowhere else to go. To her credit, she ultimately found a solution — another couple who had also booked that day agreed to share their two-bedroom unit with me, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience left me uneasy. When I asked for a glass of tap water, I was told she didn’t have any and was offered a bottle of water for $2. I explained I was running low on cash since I hadn’t planned to still be in Barbados. She eventually did give me a bottle of water, but the fact that her first instinct was to charge a stranded traveler for water was off-putting. Everything worked out in the end, but the process was stressful and unwelcoming. If you’re booking here, just know that there may be a disconnect between what the booking system reflects and actual availability — and that the hospitality experience may be inconsistent. Future travelers should keep that in mind.

The apartment was spacious & very clean. Very modern and up to date with technology. Hosts were also very friendly and welcoming

The property was gated and close to the beaches and restaurants. The pool was clean and nice to use. Our condo was very comfortable with great views.

Property is in a perfect location, safe and clean
