"We had a great stay, and our young adult kids/friends said it was one of their favorite experiences ever. That's a huge compliment! The place was the perfect size for our large group. The ease of checking in/out was great. The communication was excellent. There were plenty of dishes, etc. The coffee maker and the dishwasher could use an upgrade. This was one of the coldest weekends we had, but that did not stop our group from taking full advantage of the skiing at Lutsen. We were also lucky enough to witness an excellent meteor shower through the large picture window in the living room which was a really cool experience. Thank-you for such a great stay! Our kids hope we treat them to this every year. "

"What a perfect setting in the woods and close to everything ie. Lutsen and Grand Marais. A few initial small glitches; however, Mr. Smothers was MORE than accommodating especially given it was Thanksgiving day. Pool was closed; however, the public pool in Grand Marais was open. A setting were several quiet walks with family was very relaxing and therapeutic! I HIGHLY recommend THE HIBERNATION HOUSE! "
