“Lovely old character building but in need of repairs and upgrades. Employees helpful. Minimal breakfast and no place to eat even though the hotel is large. No restaurants nearby.”

There was also free on street parking nearby but very few spaces available. Lovely 15 min walk up the cliff road to upper Bangor. Probably about a 20 min walk into the main town centre.”

“Unique location, nice view out on a balcony facing the church. Bed was very comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful. From the Y Capel it's a short walk to the Erskine Arms Hotel for check-in, breakfast, the bar. Easy access to downtown activities in Conwy. Even when the castle is closed (due to filming of some made- for- TV dweeb series) you can still walk around a bit and enjoy the view. Nice sitting area in Y Capel which we did not use. And, the train station is very close to……

“We had an amazing stay here. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. We loved the suite with its living area and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts could not have done more. So friendly and helpful. They also had lots of games and toys and a garden which were great for the kids. ”

“Be careful if booking on Expedia! It clearly states a double room can sleep 3, when actually it’s just 2! I booked thinking there must be a pull out bed but unfortunately there isn’t. Luckily there were only 2 of us but we did want separate beds. Other than that, one of the most clean and well presented rooms I’ve seen. Very friendly staff.”
