“Lovely room and the beds were so comfortable! We followed advance about the parking in a very close car park so cheap and easy. We had an issue with towels which was sorted out immediately and communication has been great. The only thing we’d have liked is the ability to make a cup of tea, only a coffee machine was in the room, and they don’t get hot enough for tea. Small thing and wouldn’t stop us from coming back! Fab place. ”

“The hotel, room, staff, food were all fabulous. From the welcome I received from the front door staff, who found the multi-tasking receptionist without being asked to moment I left the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was lovely, it was clean, airy and the coffee bags were an unexpected treat (I’d expected the usual coffee tubes) the room was nicely decorated and not the soulless reliable repeatable version the big chains provide. The hotel is recommended and my first choice next……

“Cottage was gorgeous inside. Really great layout and lovely decoration. Great bifold doors, bathroom, beds very comfortable. Slight issue as parking is NOT included- have contacted Expedia/ Sykes cottages and the owner to get this changed. In the end we found we bought a couple hours at 8am and were out by 10 and not back til after 8pm so it was about £1.70 each day by PayByPhone. We had a brilliant stay in Anglesey and can’t wait to return-this was a brilliant base.”

"Location is perfect, facing the sea and we need only 1 minute to walk to the beach. I visited in mid-May, when the hotel was undergoing maintenance which was unexpected and left me certain disappointments. However, the rest experiences were in contrast and exceeded my normal expectation to a hotel. It did great in 3 very important basic things of a hotel, which are strong and hot shower, comfortable bed and pillow, and strong hair dryer (all were even better than most 5 stars hotels I have visited). Services also excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the waiter of the restaurant who was enthusiastic and sincere. Restaurant food was great and price was reasonably low. Carpet of the room was a bit old which was the only thing I did mind a bit. Will definitely visit again."
