“Undergoing refurbishment currently, older parts and rooms very dated and run down. Good location for first time in London. Public transport bit out of the way, bring good walking shoes unless you plan on calling for taxi or Uber all the time.”
“What a lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and considerate. I was a little disappointed with the view from our suite as we couldn't see anything but a corridor. The other downside was that the room only had green tea and earl grey teabags in the room and we had to ask for English teabags the following morning. All in all we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.”
“I absolutely and without hesitation give the staff a five star rating however those little pods were not built for 75 year-old women. There is no plug-in in the pod and I couldn’t figure out how to turn the heat down and I bumped my head twice going into the pod and there should be a rack above you in the pod. You can slide your suitcases into but they just were not built for an old lady. and there should be a rack above you in the pod. You can slide your suitcases into but they just were not……
“The location was good as close to Paddington station . The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lower floor room and we need to carry our luggage through the narrow stairs. Also if we want to have air conditioning, need to pay extra 10 pounds .
The layout of the room was very crowded with 5 beds and no desk and chair to work.
The water outflow of the shower very slow, so water got accumulated. Also we could hear the noise of the underground and train.”
