The room was clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed there on a Thursday night and it was very quiet. The building is very old and has a lot of character and charm. Some furniture needs to be replaced and the bed was just ok in terms of comfort. The bathroom has been updated and the water pressure was excellent with plenty of hot water.

This is a gem ! Staff made me feel so welcomed and went out of their way to accommodate me with my meal when I didnt feel well. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful. I will be returning !

Beautiful hotel, seems to have been a mansion previously. The room was wonderful, spacious, bright, clean. The staff were exceptional!! Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, attentive. We had drinks on arrival, and breakfast and a massage prior to departure. Can’t say enough about how great these were also. Easily one of the best hotel stays that we have had. We highly recommend!!

Gracious old mansion, renovated as a small hotel with lovely grounds. Beautiful part of "Old South," London, Ontario. Plenty of included parking. Generous included breakfast. This has become our home away from home when visiting London.

This is a truly unique and wonderful hotel. I highly recommend it. It is not far from the downtown core and the parks where most of the festivals happen. There is a ton of parking available and its included which is great. The breakfast was much better than expected for something included. We would love to go back for dinner as the food looked incredible. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate to book here its worth every penny.

This is a charming boutique hotel in a historic neighborhood with old world charm and a beautifully restored dining room. The breakfasts were wonderful and staff were very friendly. We will definitely return.

We had an amazing birthday dinner on their Wednesday Chef's grill night. They graciously squeezed us in and we had front window seats. Our server, Katherine, approached with a sing-songy greeting and I sang back. She was such fun and elevated our entire dining experience! We had cocktails, a bottle of wine, salads, and the main course. My hubby had a tomahawk porkchop with French scalloped potatoes. I had the honey glazed Cornish hen with vegetables. We had several desserts and were absolutely stuffed. We tipped the pianist and singer on the way out. We were smiling from our lovely 3 hour dinner and entertainment. My husband had a wonderful birthday so it was a big success for us and our host, the IdleWyld.

Everything about this place, from check in, to the room, to the breakfast, to the on site restaurant, is absolutely special. Customer service is paramount here, and we were received with such kindness and warmth that I will never forget this place.
