The Zedwell Tottenham Court was a good option for visiting London. It’s a block away from both the British Museum and Soho, as well as an Underground station. There are so many options nearby for food and entertainment that it’s almost impossible to list them all. The hotel itself is underground, and the rooms are extremely minimal, but it works if you’re only looking for a place to sleep in the heart of a busy city. The rooms get pitch black when the lights are out, which makes sleeping at any time of the day easy. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place to sleep in, and plan to spend your time exploring the city around you.

Easily worst experincee I have had at a hotel. I have been in at least 100 throughout my life and this is my very first bad review. Air conditioning did not work, unsafe given it is underground. Their solution was a ventilator changed me 3 days later to another room where bed was dirty, bathroom smelled horrible. Space is diminute, extemley small. When asking for refund or help a few of their collaborators were extremley rude.

Great location, friendly staff (though only saw at check in), very clean. However beds are really mattresses just above floor level, very soft and room was hot. As there is no furniture or space, it’s fine for a single night stay for concert / event but perhaps not a longer break.

Reception staff member was able to contact 3rd party UBER contractor as they didn’t show up. After 10 minutes, another car was able to come by and take us to the airport at 5am June 4

The room was very small and 3 levels below ground which perhaps caused the sewage gas smell. If you need air movement or enjoy brighter lighting then I would not recommend. Also, bathroom glass if lightly frosted. So be prepared to see others in the shower or on the toilet. We left our adult children there and stayed down the street.

It’s a very convenient location. The room and bathroom are comfortable and clean. The main issues are lack of storage, a rail or some shelves possibly for your toiletries/clothing.
